Tim is recovering from everything he did in My Life Next Door, while also being told he’s the father of a baby he didn’t know existed. Plus, she’s just dumped her boyfriend who she wasn’t sure she loved. Both are dealing with struggles: Alice’s dad is recovering from his accident and there’s a lot of pressure on her to keep it together for her family. The Boy Most Likely To is a companion novel to My Life Next Door, as it focuses on Tim, Nan’s brother, and Alice, Jace’s sister, as they eventually realise the feelings they have towards each other are real. I’m actually sad to have read all of her books before the summer, but it just meant the summer came to me a little sooner! There’s something about her style that’s so easy to read and puts me in a pleasant mood. Although I haven’t given any of her books a full 5 star rating, I’ve enjoyed every minute I’ve spent reading them. If Non Pratt was my author of the year in 2015, then Huntley Fitzpatrick is definitely in the running for my favourite of 2016. The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick
